Summary

Nyumbani is a recognized world leader in providing HIV/AIDS care services to children and affected families in Kenya, there are approximately 97 children in the facility ranged from 3 to 18 years old.

This project was organized by Light International School A Level Boys and Feradon Foundation members and involved giving essential goods to this great children’s home.

In addition to giving essential goods, volunteers had a chance to learn about the activities at Nyumbani such as their highly educative library that offers both book and video literature and computer center where the kids can learn relevant skills and experience in technology.

Volunteers also had a wonderful chance to visit the Nyumbani Diagnostic Laboratory where Nyumbani scientists and medical staff high-tech tools to better diagnose and treat Kenya’s HIV/AIDS patients.
